White Tara

2019, 17 in. x 11 in.
Watercolor and ink on paper
$100, unframed

A “thangka” painting using traditional Tibetan Buddhist iconography, but with more modern materials. Thangkas serve a both instructional material and aids to meditation and visualization.

White Tara is the embodiment of universal compassion and wisdom. Meditating on her image helps us unlock those same qualities within ourselves and manifest them in the world around us.
